Federal and State law requires employers to post labor law notices in the workplace. These mandatory postings include the OSHA Posting, Federal Minimum Wage, FMLA, USERRA and various state specific and industry specific notices. Failure to post mandatory and updated labor law notices can result in hefty fines and lawsuits. Most people (employers & employees) are unaware that labor law postings can change at any time of the year, and it is the responsibility of the employer to stay up-to-date on these notices.
Our new poster update service will automatically keep you up to date with notifications of changes to the labor law notices affecting you and your staff! When a change occurs, no matter in which state you have employees, we will make sure that your posters remain compliant.
The last labor law change for Texas employers was the Texas Unemployment Compensation & Payday Notice (Effective 04/2015). Businesses whose employees are entitled to file for state unemployment benefits and are also covered by the Texas Payday Law must display the new Texas Unemployment Compensation & Payday Notice. Texas employers not liable under the Texas Unemployment Compensation Act, but subject to the Texas Payday Law, must display the Texas Payday Law Notice. The Texas Payday Law Notice is already included on our Texas Labor Law Poster. If you currently have posters but they do not have this update, your posters are not in compliance.
So Why Do You Need Labor Law Posters ?
